Photo: Floyd Mayweather flaunts wads of cash, talks about investments

It’s good to be Floyd Mayweather Jrlol! The happily retired Mayweather always tries to stay relevant, this time taking to social media to again show off the fruits of his illustrious boxing career.

The undefeated American posted in his Instagram a short clip of him sitting on a couch before neatly arranged bundles of $100 bills. The video was accompanied by a lengthy caption emphasizing Mayweather’s continued financial success even after retirement.

“They say ‘Life Is What You Make It’ and to that, I’ll agree wholeheartedly! As I sit here acknowledging how blessed I am to be retired a year shy of my 40th birthday, it’s nearly impossible to say that I am not living the ‘American Dream’,” the caption read in part.

Mayweather, who retired in September last year, has been a fixture in Forbes’ annual lists of the world’s richest athletes, even topping several editions. His bout with Manny Pacquiao ended up as the richest boxing match ever, a fight that paid Mayweather at least $220 million.

He has since brushed off a possible comeback.
