Hilarious: Meet the Zimbabwean woman who believes her daughter is 'Jesus Christ'

News reports have revealed the existence of a Zimbabwean woman who believes that her daughter is Jesus Christ's reincarnate.
A woman who has been identified as Mrs Entrance Nyanyete, reportedly left residents of Mudzimu Unoyera Sect in Chatiza Village, Mashonaland Central’s Guruve District of Zimbabwe believing the 'Messiah' lives among them.

Sunday Mail reports that, upon a visit to her home on Good Friday, March 25, 2016, she had not been available but had met with her mother, Mai Maria (Mother Mary), who confessed to forgetting the approach of Easter.

Speaking with the journalists, Maria had said:

“I had forgotten that it is Easter. You have actually reminded me of my child’s death. This is actually one of the most painful times of my life as it reminds me of the time white people overseas killed my child.”

Her husband, and Mrs Nyanyete's father, known as “Baba Josefa” (Father Joseph), adds:

“You came here to ask about our Easter celebrations. See how painful it is to her? It is painful to celebrate because this is the day Jesus was killed.”

Those who believe in the doctrine, now forming a sect, burst into singing as one of the followers, Mary, wiped “Mai Maria’s” tears, sprinkling deodorant on her clothes.

Mai Maria also revealed that Jesus had died 2,000 years ago only to be reincarnated as Emmanuel Dzanagare Mudyiwa in 1939.

Mudyiwa had reportedly died in 1989 and the spirit of Jesus had entered her then six-year-old daughter, Tepsy Nyanyete, in 1998.

Sundal Mail reports that the sect now believes Nyanyete, now 24, is Jesus, referring to her as Jepsy Nyanyete, Jekia Mambo, Tenzi or Ishe Jesu, even as Zimbabweans have come to know her as ‘Girl Jesus’.

The followers are reportedly faithful despite the arrest of “Mai Maria” and “Baba Josefa” years back following charges of assaulting police officers who had been rescuing 160 children at their shrine.

Mrs Nyanyete added:

“For us, every Friday is Easter and we remember how they killed my child many years back. We celebrate it in our own way, with our own rituals, which include crying, singing and dancing.

“We are, however, grateful that Jesus came back, and this time, she will not die. She is not going away anymore. She is set to live forever and rule the earth.”
