A Sacked Worker In Kenya Raped And Murdered His Boss Granddaughter

A middle aged man in Kenya has been declared wanted after he took out his anger of being sacked by his employer of the woman's granddaughter by abducting her, raping and finally murdering her.

The body of the girl, Felister Murugi, who was still in secondary school, was found dumped in an abandoned 100-feet borehole having been strangled to death and with evidence of rape.

Murugi went missing on Sunday, January 10, from the home where she lived with her grandmother, Anne Wanjiku, who fired the suspect from her farm a few days earlier.

According to Wanjiku, she met the man on her way to church on the day of the incident but she did not know he was headed to her home. He arrived at the home and asked for the deceased’s phone number, only to trace her to where she was, kidnapped her and raped her before strangling her.

Police and the search team followed a trail of blood stains on Wanjiku’s farm, 50 meters away from her home, to where the body had been dumped.

The body was discovered on Monday and the suspect is still at large with the police saying they have launched a manhunt.
