NME Awards chaos as Bring Me The Horizon trash Coldplay's table amid 'album cover row'

The rock band's frontman destroyed Coldplay's table on purpose during an energetic performance
Fans didn't think things would get wild at this year's NME Awards, what with Coldplay and Kylie on the bill, but they were VERY wrong.

Sheffield rock band Bring Me The Horizon, who picked up the NME Innovation Award, caused chaos when the lead singer jumped onto Coldplay's table, kicking out at their bottles and glasses.

Frontman Oli Sykes is reportedly annoyed because BMTH used the 'flower of life' for their 2013 record Sempiternal, after which Chris Martin's band chose a similar geometric pattern for A Head Full Of Dreams.

The crowd was left stunned, as were Coldplay, when he dived on the table in the middle of the band's performance of Happy Song, kicking over bottles and glasses and resulting in guitarist Jonny Buckland having to dive out of the way.

According to reports, staff had to rush to the table to clean up the mess as Chris and the crew sat looking pretty confused by the whole thing.
