During her stay in the BBA house, Talia dated Sedou and when he was eliminated, she moved on to South African housemate and eventual winner, Keagan. Singer Omarion and Apryl Jones welcome their second child, a baby girl

Omarion and his longtime girlfriend, Apryl Jones have welcomed their second child, a daughter. Apryl gave birth today March 7th. Omarion announced the news on social media today, sayin,
“You know why I’m in such a good mood? It’s because I had my daughter this morning,” he said.

Omarion and Apryl already have a son named Megaa.

See World’s Largest Aircraft, the size of a stadium

The world’s longest aircraft called Airlander 10, which is as large as a football pitch and as high as six double decker buses, is set to take its first test flight in a few days time. The unique aerodynamic balloon-like shape of the Airlander 10 cost $100 million (£60m) to make and can fly at maximum speed of 92mph for five days straight, it carries around 10-tons of cargo and can land on water. Some people say it has the shape of Reality star, Kim Kardashian’s Booty lol.

Measuring 302ft (92m) in length the new airship is about 60ft longer than the biggest airliners, the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-8.
The Airlander 10 can also stay floating, unmanned, for three weeks even with bullet holes in it was originally developed from 2009 for the US Army, which abandoned the project.

Kenyan woman beaten and stabbed to death by ex-boyfriend for dumping him

Catherine Waithera Njogu was brutally beaten and stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend after she dumped him. According to The Kenyan Daily Post, the suspect who is currently on the run stormed into Catherine Waithera Njogu place of work in Dubai and brutally beat her before stabbing her to death…

The couple had been together for two years during which he spent a lot of money to relocate her to Dubai and secure a job for her with DHL. She ended their relationship for unknown reason and he made several unsucceful attempts to get her back.

Watson is alleged to have said that that there was no way he could spend his hard earned money to facilitate her move to Dubai from Kenya and secure a good job for her only to be dumped.

Catherine’s father, Joseph Njogu has called on the Kenyan Government to assist in apprehending the suspect.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge release skiing holiday photos

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released a series of photographs of their trip to the French Alps – their first family holiday since the birth of Princess Charlotte.

The six family photographs were taken after the royals arrived in the Alps for a short holiday on Wednesday night.

They were taken the next day – when Prince George and Princess Charlotte played in the snow for the first time.

Kensington Palace said it had been a “very special and fun” family holiday.

How and ways to run your own race

A recent Huffington Post blog cited a new study that found that Facebook use could increase feelings of jealousy, which may lead to depression. With Facebook and other social media sites being the first place individuals go to “humble brag” (or just flat-out brag) about their accomplishments or experiences, this isn’t hard to fathom. With the success of other people constantly popping up on your newsfeed, it is easy to get wrapped up in thinking that you do not measure up.

However, the more time you spend worrying about what others are doing, the less time you are focusing on yourself and your own success. Think of the story of the tortoise and the hare. The hare was speeding for success, but got caught up in his own arrogance and simply coasted. The tortoise plodded down his path and focused on one step at a time. In the end, it was the tortoise that beat the hare.

This world is full of opportunities to succeed and make your own mark in your own way. While there are an unlimited ways to succeed, here are five ways to keep your eye on the prize.

1. Take social media bragging with a grain of salt

Keep in mind that whenever you see an acquaintance posting their success story, you are only seeing the finished product. You may not realize the seeds they had to sow to get there, or conversely, you may not realize how little they had to do to get there. People generally use social media to display their highlights and happiness, and show how great their life is. But real life can’t be accurately be portrayed in a single photo. No matter what Facebook implies, no one’s life is that perfect.

That being said, once you accept the fact that Facebook posts are ultimately shallow, you can effectively stop being envious, and put your focus on you. And if you feel these feelings of jealously start to return, take time away from social media and spend it in a positive and productive way.

2. Decide what success means to you

Consider this: what types of accomplishments feel important to you and your success? Make a list of what you hope to achieve this semester or year. Whether it is making the Dean’s List, winning a special award, and landing an exciting internship, focus on making it happen or a new job

3. Become an Opportunist

Not only the working class or stay at home mum’s, students too are notoriously busy. Between classes, homework, part-time jobs, social events, and extracurriculars, even sleep is at a premium. But you’ll have to do more than the minimum to stand out amongst your peers. Scour the Internet for opportunities. Once these opportunities come up, start saying yes whenever you can. If you are asked to speak at a campus ceremony, go for it. If a friend invites you to a networking event, join her. If you stumble across the chance to participate in exciting research, apply for it. If you keep your eyes open, you’ll be surprised how often these sorts of opportunities present themselves.

One caveat to saying yes whenever possible: don’t do it if it truly doesn’t appeal to you or concerned about your safety. Don’t say yes when you aren’t available. And don’t overextend yourself in an effort to say yes all the time. Commit to a few things you are passionate about and do them well. When you take on too much, you will not be able to have any sort of tangible impact.

4. Realize that you don’t have to live up to anyone else’s expectations

The only person’s expectations you have to live up to is your own. You have a responsibility to find out what you love to do and what you are meant to do, and then go out and find a way to do it. Everyone will have an opinion about what they think you should do, but that often isn’t helpful. In fact, others may either intentionally or unintentionally give you suggestions that will sabotage your own success. With a clear vision of where you want to end up, your instinct will be the most reliable.

5. Be OK with the journey

Success doesn’t come overnight. In fact, most people we consider succ

This man, who was allegedly caught trying to rape an eight-year-old girl, was stripped naked in an attempt to publicly shame him. He was reportedly dragged from the scene and had his hands tied with a rope before being paraded through a town. The man was reluctantly handed over to a policewoman , who can be seen in the footage taking off the rope, before handcuffing the man and bundling him into a patrol car. The baying mob can be heard shouting insults at the man.

Plastic surgery should be viewed almost like makeup, says Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian is all down for cosmetic surgery but says it shouldn’t be done because of a man.. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, she said:

“There’s this misconception that I’m not into plastic surgery, but I’m into it and I don’t care if you have it,”
“I think plastic surgery should be viewed almost like makeup, because we’re all putting on a fucking mask basically every day anyway,”When you dye your hair, you’re changing who you are, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I think people should get plastic surgery or fillers or lasers or whatever if they want it — that should be your own personal decision.
I just don’t like when someone else is like, ‘Man, I only want to date a girl if they have big tits,’ and then a girl’s like, ‘I gotta get double-Ds.’ If you want them, great. If you’re doing that for your man, that’s when it bothers me.”

Man with vitiligo who considered suicide after years of taunts defies his bullies to become a model

Darius Vernon spent the past 14 years avoiding the opposite sex after a chronic skin condition left his self-esteem in tatters.

Darius, from Willesden, North London, suffers from vitiligo – a condition that causes the skin to lose its pigmentation creating white patches on the body.

We’ve seen women who have vitiligo who have become models, Darius has also become a model after being able to overcome his insecurities.

Darius said as a teenager, he was always bullied and made fun of because of his skin condition and that he even considered killing himself at one point.

Darius first showed symptoms of vitiligo when he was just 12 years old.

Vitiligo can be caused by stress and after the death of his grandmother, Darius started losing the pigmentation in his hands and then it traveled to the rest of his body.

He said:

‘I went to the doctors in 2000 and they diagnosed me with vitiligo. ‘I remember holding my mum’s hands and squeezing them because the name just sounded so scary.’

He said he was offered cream and makeup to cover the patches but he preferred to hide them with clothes.

Fortunately, he got discovered by model scouts on Instagram and has since been modeling for different brands. Now he is looking to find a partner who is willing to love him with his flaws.

He said:

‘I was handed this physical difference and there were no instructions to go with it – you don’t know how to deal with vitiligo.

‘I spent years hating myself and the way I looked because of the ignorance of other people – but now I’m proud of who I am.”

Boko Haram cattle rustling prompts market shut-down in Nigeria

The Borno state government in northeast Nigeria has suspended trading in four cattle markets to prevent the sale of stolen livestock to raise funds for Boko Haram Islamists.

Governor Kashim Shettima said “all trading activities have been suspended until further notice in line with (the) government commitment to ensure that no public place is turned into an avenue for funding activities of the terrorists”.

The affected markets are in the towns of Gamboru, Dusuman, Shuwarin and Ngom all outside the provincial capital Maiduguri.

Sales of dried meat such as “kilishi” a popular delicacy in northern Nigeria made from roasted thin strips of spiced beef, lamb or goat have also been banned, he added on Friday.

A military counter-offensive that began last year has recaptured territory lost to Boko Haram in Borno and two neighbouring states and the government in Abuja believes the group is “technically” defeated.

Hit-and-run raids on remote villages in the mainly agricultural region a trademark tactic of the group have increasingly seen Boko Haram fighters make off with cattle and foodstuffs.

The army says it has cut off the rebels’ supply lines, making it difficult for them to source food, fuel for vehicles and weapons. Some raids have been carried out on foot or even on bicycle.

Shettima told a meeting of cattle traders that security officials have reported the markets were being used by unscrupulous middlemen to sell stolen livestock in raids at inflated prices.

“The money realised from such transactions will then be channelled to fund the deadly activities of the terrorists,” Shettima said.

Maiduguri’s cattle market has previously been shut for similar reasons, leading to a shortage of meat in the city and a public outcry.

Imports of cattle into Maiduguri have been banned for the next two weeks and only licenced cattle traders and butchers were allowed to bring in livestock, slaughter and sell meat, the governor added.

Zimbabwe to nationalise diamond mines, says Mugabe

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, has announced that the government will take over all the country’s diamond mines to stop foreign firms syphoning off gems without declaring them.

“We have not received much (money) from the diamond industry at all,” Mugabe said in a two-hour interview screened late Thursday by state broadcaster Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation.

“Our people… have not been able to see or hear what was going on and lots of swindling, smuggling have taken place and the companies that have been mining virtually robbed us of our wealth.

“We have decided that this area should be a monopoly area and only the state should be able to do mining.”

Mines Minister Walter Chidhakwa last month announced the government had seized diamond mines in the eastern Chiadzwa fields near the border with Mozambique after their licences expired.

Mugabe said only $2 billion had trickled into government coffers out of $15 billion generated by the industry, though he gave no timeframe for the figures.

Analysts predicted that nationalisation would decrease investment and may fail to boost government revenue.

“The move is bringing uncertainty to investors. They are unnerved,” Prosper Chitambara, an economist at the Labour and Economic Development Research Institute of Zimbabwe, told AFP.

– A troubled industry –

“You can’t just decide ‘We are taking over’. It makes Zimbabwe less attractive as an investment destination.”

Zimbabwe’s economy has recently been badly hurt by its indigenisation scheme adopted in 2008 under which foreign companies must transfer 51 percent of their shares to local entities or individuals.

The government last year ordered diamond mines, including joint ventures with Chinese operators in the Marange district, to join a state-owned conglomerate.

Out of the six diamond companies in Zimbabwe, four are government joint ventures — two with China, one with Dubai and one with Ghana.

Another is wholly owned by the government, and one is owned by black Zimbabwean businessmen.

In recent years, the industry has been tainted by allegations of rights abuses including the killing and torture of workers.

Reports of abuse led to an international ban of gem exports from Marange between 2009 and 2011.

Diamonds were discovered in Marange in 2006, drawing thousands of small-time miners hoping to make a quick fortune.

The army cleared the area in late 2008, when rights groups said more than 200 people were killed.

The government in Harare pinned its hopes on the diamond industry to shore up the moribund economy, but with little success.

The country is among the worlds 10 largest producers of diamonds by volume. Prices are at a six-year low after falling 18 percent last year.

Zimbabwe, which earns most of its foreign exchange through mining, saw production fall to 420,000 carats in the first five months of 2015 from 660,000 carats a year earlier, according to Bloomberg News.

Woman who spent 15 years searching for her birth mother is stunned to discover that she worked alongside her for 2 years

Jenny Thomas, 40, from Rochester, New York, started searching for her birth mother in her twenties but never had any leads.

It was only after going on a new TLC show, Long Lost Family, which helps reunite people with their biological relatives, that she identified her former co-worker Nita Valdez as her mother.

‘All the while I had looked at the woman who once knew me as her daughter.’

Nita, the daughter of a minister, had given up her daughter to social services because she was too ashamed of having her out of Wedlock.

Jenny worked as a part-time patient care technician while Nita was a patient transporter at the hospital. They interacted daily and had a friendly ‘working-professional relationship.’ Jenny’s story will feature on an upcoming episode of the new series, which starts on Sunday.
