Kris Jenner's boyfriend helped her cover up

Kris Jenner wardrobe malfunction was almost a disaster thanks to her 35 year old boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

The couple were trying to board a Yatch at the famous St Barts where they, amongst other celebrities were vacationing when the incident happened...or nearly happened.

The 60 year old mom and manager to her TV Reality star children carried a white tote bag stuffed with the day's essentials, while Corey followed with another piece of designer arm luggage. They were on gangway with Corey following after his  partner when it happened.  Luckily, Corey was on hand to pull down his girlfriend's cover-up.

Kris had layered a multi print tunic over her white bikini for the boat trip, but the short dress, with thigh-high splits, showed off perhaps a little more than she intended while her boyfriend was looking smart in a loose-fitting lilac shirt teamed with white shorts for the day at sea.

'Game of Thrones' Author George R.R. Martin Says He Missed Book Deadline

The author of a popular fantasy series confirmed Saturday that he missed the last deadline that would have allowed the sixth novel in his fantasy series to be published before the next TV series begins.

The failure to meet the December 31 deadline will mean the sixth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones series will appear on screen before The Winds of Winter — its source material — can be read by fans of the novels.

George R.R. Martin wrote on his blog Saturday, "The book's not done. ... I tried, I promise you. I failed.''

Martin said he was working with HBO to ensure the show reflected the next installment of the A Song of Ice and Fire books.

Martin wrote on his blog that even though he had written hundreds of pages and dozens of chapters, it would still take months more to finish The Winds of Winter.

The seventh novel in the series, A Dream of Spring, will be the last, according to Martin.

Mavin Records versus YBNL Nation - Headies 2015

Both labels had their star talents nominated in one of the major awards of the night.

Serious shade unfolded at the Headies 2015 ceremony between YBNL Nation and Mavin Records.

Both labels had their star talents: Lil Kesh (YBNL), Korede Bello and Reekado Banks (both of Mavin Records) nominated in one of the major awards of the night – the Next Rated Act award.

This award was won by Mavin Records artist Reekado Banks who acknowledged that Lil Kesh could have won while he was on stage receiving his award.

The shade unfolded when YBNL singer Adekunle Gold and his record label mates went on stage to receive his award for Best Alternative Song. After Gold gave his thanks, Olamide took the microphone and said:

“Adekunle Gold let’s be honest, this award belongs to Lil Kesh, because Lil Kesh is our Next Rated artist”, he said.

“Every single was a hit back to back, from ‘Lyrically’ to ‘Shoki’ to ‘Efejoku’”.

After which the rapper cursed before dropping the microphone and walking off stage.

When Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy was giving his speech after he received a Special Recognition Award, he said he had told Korede Bello and Reekado Banks who he referred to as his “children” not to look at the list of nominees when it came out and promised he would buy them cars.

He then fired back at Olamide saying:

“Olamide, if you want the car, come and collect it”.

After which he and the Mavin entourage left the event.

Olamide then went to Twitter and posted: “Don Jazzy is human ... Not God I only aired my opinion.. Don't mention my name ... Biko ..”.

Texas allows the open carry of handguns

Texas was far from being the first US state to allow licensed gun owners to carry a holstered pistol in public - but it is the largest.

As a result, as from January 1 2016, almost one million people in Texas who have passed safety courses and have concealed handgun permits, will be allowed to openly carry their weapons. It is the first time they have been able to do so since 1871. They will even be allowed to carry them in the state assembly building in Austin.

The Associated Press said that Republican-controlled Texas already allows openly carrying rifles and shotguns, but has banned having handguns visible since just after the Civil War. Texas had nearly 826,000 concealed licence holders in 2014, which ranks among the nation's highest.

Muslim Bodies Condemn Possible Ban on Hijab

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Lagos State Area Unit (LSAU), has warned President Muhammad Buhari not to consider or attempt any ban on Hijab.

The Amir (President) of MSSN LSAU, Mallam Saheed Ashafa, said this yesterday at the December Islamic Vacation Course holding at Epe, Lagos.

He said such consideration would ridicule the war against Boko Haram, adding it was an unnecessary approach.
According to Ashafa, ban on Hijab means that Boko Haram has succeeded in their deceptive ideology and may strengthen their unjustifiable zeal to kill innocent peoples.

Buhari, during his maiden presidential media chat last Wednesday in Abuja had said the federal government might consider ban on hijab if terrorists continue to use it to perpetuate evil.

But Ashafa condemned the insight, saying such showed that the government was still considering some unrealistic approach in the fight against terrorism in Nigeria.

Firefighters managed to subdue the blaze, but part of the Address Downtown Hotel is still smouldering.
A BBC reporter says a significant fire is still visible on the 20th floor, where the blaze apparently started.
The tower was evacuated and 16 people were hurt. But a fireworks show went ahead at the Burj Khalifa tower nearby.
The Burj Khalifa is the world's tallest building and an iconic symbol of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The BBC's Marcus George in Dubai says streets around the Address Downtown Hotel have been cordoned off, but boulevards around the Burj Khalifa are open.
